What you will be doing
- Review and oversee corporate and personal income tax returns and tax planning engagements
- Provide advisory services on domestic and international cross-border tax matters
- Conduct technical tax research for client needs and internal use, and draft correspondence to tax authorities
- Identify technical issues, propose solutions, and analyze new tax legislation
- Manage tax season processes and procedures
- Coach and mentor staff, assign tasks, and contribute to professional development seminars
- Participate in practice development activities
What the role requires
- Minimum eight years of tax experience in public accounting, with at least one year at senior manager level
- Experience with owner-managed businesses
- Proficiency in tax preparation software and working paper platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to clients
- Demonstrated organizational skills with ability to prioritize, manage workflows, and meet deadlines
