What your resume should make obvious

Screeners spend seconds on a first pass. For this role, these are the things worth putting where they will be seen.

  • Specify the tax services you delivered: compliance, advisory, planning, restructuring, or research
  • Name the jurisdictions and tax types you handled: federal, provincial, international, corporate, partnership
  • Quantify your team leadership: how many staff or seniors you supervised, how many files you managed concurrently
  • Show client variety: note if you served owner-managed businesses, national corporations, or cross-border entities
  • Highlight any international tax work: treaty application, transfer pricing, foreign reporting, or non-resident issues
