Senior Accountant/Staff Accountant

This Senior Accountant position involves leading audit and review engagements, preparing and reviewing Canadian corporate tax returns, and managing client relationships. The role requires independent judgment on technical accounting and tax matters while collaborating with team members to deliver quality work across multiple concurrent engagements.

What you will be doing

• Lead and complete audit and review engagements
• Prepare and review Canadian corporate tax returns
• Establish and maintain strong client relationships
• Identify and resolve accounting and tax issues through research and technical analysis
• Manage and prioritize multiple client engagements to meet deadlines
• Work collaboratively in a team environment and provide guidance to team members

What the role requires

• 3+ years of experience in a public accounting environment
• Experience leading and completing audit and review engagements
• Experience with Canadian corporate taxes
• Strong knowledge of accounting software, spreadsheet applications, and tax preparation software
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
