A Senior Accountant role focused on real estate portfolio accounting and financial reporting. The position involves monthly performance review of multi-family portfolios, preparation of financial statements, and process improvement for month-end close procedures.

What you will be doing

• Review accounting and multi-family portfolio performance monthly, including tracking contributions, distributions, and cash management
• Prepare and analyse financial statements and financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Improve and document month-end procedures and workbooks to enhance accuracy of financial reporting
• Support the corporate accounting team with technical accounting matters

What the role requires

• 3+ years of accounting experience in industry or public accounting firm
• Knowledge of IFRS accounting and financial reporting standards
• Real estate experience preferred
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
